The Instructional Framework at Princeton Public Schools
Beginning in the 2012-13 school year, our district will be implementing the Danielson Framework for Teaching.  This well-established set of teaching and learning expectations provides all teachers and administrators with a common language to guide the classroom experience for our students.  Most importantly, it lays out a researched-based structure of elements that will result in a productive learning experience and outcomes for our students.  Charlotte Danielson has organized her framework into four domains - (1) Planning and Preparation, (2) The Classroom Environment, (3) Instruction and (4) Professional Responsibilities.  This will be a focus for the district's professional learning during the upcoming school year.
